Millie Mae Thorogood (b. 2002) is a London- based artist & designer who grew up in Norfolk, UK. She studied at East Norfolk Sixth Form College where she completed A Levels and a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, 2021. She went on to study at Central Saint Martins, BA Fine Art, but left before completing the course.

Psychological, philosophical and sociological theories are forever working participants in her ideas that become pieces. Putting concept at the forefront, ensuring that the idea is not bound nor limited to the medium.

Personal experiences, human nature and reaction interest her, and she enjoys the questioning and curiosity of everything, even the intangible. She believes to think and create, work cohesively with each other, to think is to create and to create is to think, even subconsciously. ‘‘To be an artist and creative, it’s apart of your character, your personality. Something that you take with you through the chapters of your life. It’s who you are, not just what you do’’
